JOIN the PTA!
We would like to encourage all families to join the PTA by going to our website and signing up. Your dues help support PTA-funded programs for our students and teachers. Also, by becoming a member, you will have access to the directory on the PTA website.

Order online for pick up or pop in to take home. Grab lunch or dinner or both because this fundraiser lasts all day long!
Tom and Chee will donate 20% of all sales to Mercer!!

The Forest Hills Foundation for Education's (FHFE) 7th Annual ALL IN for a Big Win donation drive to benefit the IPM Food Pantry.
October 24th for 10am to 1pm
Just like so many things this year, our donation drive will look different. There will be no collection of items in our schools. Instead all donations will be dropped off in the parking lot of the FHSD central office, 7946 Beechmont Ave. Drop off will take place from 10am to 1pm and be done in a safe and socially distant manner.
This year’s drive will involve a friendly competition between Turpin and Anderson. When you drop off your donation on October 24th, let us know which school you are supporting. Winner gets bragging rights!

We hope to collect enough to fill the shelves of IPM and help our neighbors who are struggling to fill theirs.

- Amazon Prime: Users can go to https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1HIDM7TT4VLTP?ref_=wl_share and buy a box to be shipped to us. Add all individual items to complete a family box to your cart. If specified items are unavailable, please find similar items from Amazon Pantry to complete the box. The box should cost just over $35 which qualifies for free shipping. At checkout, choose the option to ship to Dee Stone. Non-prime users can still use amazon but shipping charges will likely be charged.
- Kroger Clicklist: Use Kroger’s free Clicklist to buy your items at the Mt. Carmel location and we will pick them up for you! Just make sure you choose the Carmel location, choose October 24th as the pick up day and choose 10:00 -11:00am or 11:00-12:00pm. Then forward the name of the person ordering and the confirmation email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
While no donation will be turned away, IPM asks that if you choose to shop virtually, please either buy a whole family box or a complete power pack. If you prefer to buy separate items, please stick to the personal care items. Email sarahbethVL@gmail.com with questions.
Room Parent Sign-up
Please sign up to be a Room Parent/Guardian via the PTA website under Volunteer. (Please note you have to log in first.)
Duties include: 1) Organize, purchase, and drop off all items for a craft, game and goody bag for fall (10/30) and winter (12/18) parties. Please note no snacks this year due to COVID, and no parents are allowed in the classroom. 2) Organize sign-up for virtual Google Meet help for the class if requested by the teacher. More details to come.
Class Party Donations
Please visit the PTA website under Store to contribute. (Please note you have to log in first.)
Funds collected will be used to cover the cost of class parties. This year, like last year, the fee will be combined by grade level and split between the classes. For example, if the total donations for 4th-grade students equal $400 and there are 4 classrooms in the 4th grade, each class will receive $100 for their classroom parties for the school year. Leftover money will be used to purchase supplies for classrooms.
Teacher Gift Donations

All money collected will be pooled together and divided among all teachers at Mercer for a holiday gift.

It is very important that we have accurate information in our communication systems. Please go to the PTA website and update your child's data (grade, teacher, etc.) to ensure that you receive all communications pertinent to your family. Thanks for your cooperation!

COVID Fundraiser Update
We are so appreciative of all those who have made monetary contributions and/or donated their time! We have collected almost $11,000 to date and have spent $7,887 on the purchase of a 20 x 40 commercial tent, 15 8ft tables, 28 folding chairs, 2 table dollies and 1 dolly for chairs. Students have been utilizing the tent for mask free learning!!
We are keeping the fundraiser open for additional COVID-related needs, so if you haven't donated and would like to please go to the PTA website to contribute. We will continue to provide updates on the COVID-related needs as well as what is being purchased
Mercer Golden Eagle Award
The Golden Eagle this month goes to all the Mercer teachers for their unending hard work during these unprecedented times.
