Mark your calendars to join us as we battle Ayer Elementary!!
Join all your friends on Tuesday, February 11th at Beechmont Rollarena for an all-you-can-skate party from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Admission is $3.25 and skate rental is $2, or $4 for speed skates.
Mercer's Eagle Council is joining forces with 9United and their Bottlecaps to Benches program. We are hoping to collect enough bottlecaps to purchase our very own recycled bench. To do this, we will need to collect 200 pounds of bottlecaps/lids. Some acceptable caps/lids are: medicine caps, milk jug caps, detergent caps, hair spray caps, toothpaste caps, water bottle caps, cottage cheese lids, peanut butter jar lids, butter lids, pringles lids. Please send these items in with your child at your earliest convenience. We look forward to having our own bench this spring!

Heat-up February with Anderson Theatre's
Master playwright Arthur Miller leads us through a web of deceit and betrayal in this partially fictionalized story of the Salem withch trials in the Massachusetts Bay Colony during the winter of 1692. The story focuses upon John Proctor, his wife, Elizabeth, and Abigail Williams, the young servant-girl who maliciously embroils an entire town in a crucible of lies, accusations and terror.
Winner of the 1953 Tony Award for Best Play, "The Crucible" offers an unflinching view of what can happen when justice and truth fall victim to the worst impulses of humanity, and how a society struggles to retain its morality in the face of manipulation, fear, and blind self-interest.
This show will be best appreciated by children in grades 5 and up. Performances are February 14th and 15th at 7:00pm and February 16th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $10 and can be ordered by mailing in the attached form or visiting www.AndersonTheatre.com.
