Scholastic Book Fair

Mercer's Spring Book Fair is underway and will continue through Friday, May 20th. Kindergarten through 6th Grade students will attend on their regular Media Day.

NO cash or checks will be accepted. The eWallet has worked very well at other schools in the district and was great in the Fall.  To create an eWallet, please visit the Mercer Book Fair website to get started. Also, you can watch this quick video for more information! After the fair, remaining eWallet funds display as a gift card balance and can be used at the Scholastic Store Online or to fund an eWallet for a future book fair.  Check out the eWallet and the FAQ if you have more questions.

If you are experiencing any issues with eWallet, the help line hours are 8AM - 6PM; please contact 888-412-9124. Any book fair specific questions may be sent to guyfrye@foresthills.edu.

We also have a couple of parent volunteer slots open for TODAY. If you are able to help, please sign up here.

For those attending, we look forward to seeing you at our end-of-year celebration!

          Thursday, May 26th, 4-8 p.m.

Technology Safety Program

On the morning of May 2nd, Guest Speaker Stephen Smith, President of A Wired Family, LLC, presented a powerful program to our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. The program covered the basics concerning the evolution of the mobile and broadband world as it relates to student communication including: inappropriate online behavior, bullying and its impact on mental health. He also covered the causes, the technology and how students can help control these trends. To access additional information about these topics, check out Stephen's website at https://awiredfamily.org/
